A Big Post-Market Update

A Big Post-Market Update

Greetings,

Ann Kaye

We were blown away by all of the shops who came to see us and support us at market. We thought for sure that this would be the market when our numbers would be flat versus last market, but once again we had robust growth.

It is the tail end of National Small Business Month, so I wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am for every local needlepoint shop that has taken a chance on my designs, for the friendships made at market, and for the support that keeps this creative work going.

From my Bermuda bags to tiny key fob designs, none of it would exist without the shop owners who champion independent designers and the stitchers who choose to shop small.

As always, we are working hard to continue to produce new products for everyone to fall in love with!

Thank you,

Ann

Bermuda Bag Updates

Bermuda Bag

The next batch of Bermuda Bag covers is also in production! We do not have a delivery date at this time, but suspect that they will be delivered around the beginning of July. The final batch of canvases needed to fulfill the last of the backorders is also in production. After the canvases are painted they will head to the manufacturer to be sewn into covers. We are hoping that the last of the backorder covers will be completed by late July and we will keep everyone up to date as we get information.  Reading our newsletter is the best way to stay up to date on exactly when that will be.

Wholesale Inventory Status

Retstocks of our regular/traditional needlepoint canvases are trickling in and we are filling backorders from the Winter and Spring and Market as quickly as we can. We are trying to bundle canvases and not ship single pieces but rather to send four or more at a time. If there is anything in particular that you need ASAP and you would prefer we send it alone to save some time, please just let us know.

Unfortunately, most canvases coming in are going straight out the door, so our inventory on the website is not very robust, and we expect to be stuck in this cycle for a few more months. You can sign up for backorders on our website, so if there is something you need to fulfill a customer's order, heading to the website is still a great idea even if you know we are sold out. And, to help ease your pain, we are not taking deposits on pre-orders/backorders.

In other Wholesale News

Keep checking the website for new releases! Many of our new designs for the Spring market did not arrive on time and we didn't even get wall samples for pre-orders, so please be on the lookout for some small batch releases over the summer. Lastly, please feel free to email us if you need a reminder of the wholesale passcode. Even if you have a wholesale account, you need the password to shop.
